Programs

The Asian education Foundation is dedicated to strengthening global competence among Americans by promoting the study of Asian cultures and languages, and to facilitating information exchange between the U.S. and Asia in pursuit of peaceful and sustainable global development.

Trans-Pacific Youth Collaboration Program
The Trans-Pacific Youth Collaboration Program allows American and Asian students working in groups through the Internet to create environmental activism groups using social media networks, produce environmental awareness videos, and write position papers advocating solutions for local environmental problems and sustainability issues. Through these exercises, students will improve their understanding of global economic, social, and political paradigms and gain new perspectives on cultural diversity, while learning the importance of foreign language skills and Asian cultures.

Scholarship Program
The Asian Education Foundation Scholarship Program was established to encourage the study of Asian cultures and languages by providing scholarships to American college students of all disciplines. The Foundation supports an integrated educational philosophy that bridges the training of professional skills with an enhanced global perspective and an appreciation of diverse cultures. Students receiving our scholarships will contribute to a world community defined by greater economic and cultural cooperation, and will be better prepared for intercultural problem-solving in a global economy where Asia’s presence and influence are profound.

AEF is a public funded non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization. We welcome individuals and organizations to join our effort in strengthening the competitiveness of American education.
